Run for the Schools-

A record 2525 participants signed up for the 2008 Run for the Schools on Oct. 5th! Weather was a little chilly and wet for the earlier, shorter events, but the morning developed into a beautiful fall day, offering perfect running weather.

The ICCSD Foundation wishes to thank the Iowa City Road Races and MidWest One Bank, as well as the many business sponsors and over 700 volunteers who helped make this event a record setting success. Money raised from this event will be divided between all 24 schools in the district and used to support the Foundation's Excellence Fund.
